Each year, hundreds of RIT College of Art and Design students in Foundations classes take part in The Charrette, an intensive workshop that challenges them to use various materials to make creative wearable sculpture. This year's final designs will be worn and showcased during a reception from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, in MAGIC Spell Studios' Soundstage.
Select creations will be chosen for awards and inclusion in a juried exhibition in Bevier Gallery (Oct. 6-28), titled "After the Charrette."
