She explores the role of trade networks in understanding the growth and diversification of trade, as well as the duration and stability of trading relationships. She presents an analysis of the trade networks of Ecuadorian exporters using customs data on firm-level export transactions. The discussion concludes with an overview of key conclusions and current open research questions.
