COVID-19 Against the Ropes - Tigers Fight Back

RIT Tigers have been leading the charge against COVID-19 through their work in vaccine development, variant identification, and genome sequencing. RIT College of Science Associate Professor Maureen Ferran, Ph.D. will be joined by College of Science alumni as they share their expertise on aspects and implications of their research. During the program we will share university updates and opportunities to engage with coursework & student clubs/organizations.

The program's alumni panelists are:

  • Callie Donahue BS '18 - Ph.D. Candidate in the Davey Lab at the National Emerging Infectious Disease Laboratories at Boston University
  • Alec Freyn Ph.D., BS '16 - Scientist, Virology at Moderna
  • Kaitlin Marquis BS '15 – Ph.D. Candidate in the Frederic Bushman Lab at the Perelman School of Medicine at University of Pennsylvania

Please register Monday, March 15. The event will take place via Zoom Webinar. A link to the event will be sent the day before the event.
