Creating Meaning in Times of Uncertainty

Do current events leave you feeling anxious and stressed? Do you find yourself constantly worrying and doomscrolling? Do you wish you had more coping strategies?

Creating Meaning in Times of Uncertainty is a program presented by Melissa Nunes-Harwitt (LCSW) for RIT students, faculty, and staff. Local and global instability can make daily life feel precarious; learn ways to ground yourself in values and relationships while exploring creativity, connection, and community.

This event will take place on March 5, 2026 in PRISM – Campus Center 2050 from 4-6pm, with 90 minutes for the presentation and 30 minutes for participants to eat a catered meal in community. Register or email wgsrc@rit.edu to request an interpreter or other accommodations/dietary needs.
