"Deaf Republic" Book Discussion at Henrietta Public Library

Event Image
There is a book of Deaf Republic by Ilya Kaminsky with an image of brick ear and black/white background.

Join us to discuss this year’s NEA Big Read: NTID, Deaf Republic by Ilya Kaminsky. This short but deeply powerful collection of poems by a Ukrainian author ruminates on themes of war, community, language, and D/deafness. Copies of the book will be available in print at the circulation desk and digitally in the Libby app. ASL interpretation will be provided. Registration is required.

NEA Big Read is a National Endowment for the Arts program in partnership with Arts Midwest. Check out this link for more Big Read: NTID events in Rochester.
