DHSS Workshop: Intro to Data Management & Sustainability

Learn the basics of data management in this workshop with RIT Libraries' Digital Humanities and Social Sciences (DHSS) Librarian. This workshop will equip attendees with practical strategies for managing their own data or cooperating with others on data management. Specific topics will include: best practices for file naming and archiving, recommended file formats for ongoing access, data security and backup options, and applying metadata. This workshop is open to all members of the RIT community. To request interpreting services, go to: http://myAccess.rit.edu/This will be an interactive technology session.
