Diabetes Prevention Program
Are you at risk for diabetes? You may be at risk if you:
- Have family history of diabetes
- Have prediabetes
- Have high blood pressure
- Are obese or have a BMI >30
- Have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
Join Kelly Read, Registered Dietitian in the Student Health Center, for a free virtual group program focused on diabetes prevention every Tuesday at 2 p.m. from September 1 - November 24, 2020. During these weekly Zoom sessions, you will learn about nutrition, physical activity goals, and lifestyle tips to reduce the risk for Type 2 Diabetes.
If you are interested in joining the group, register on CampusGroups. A new Zoom for healthcare link will be sent out weekly before each session.
