Everyday Heroes from the War in Syria: The White Helmets Documentary Viewing and Panel Discussion

The Global Health Association @ RIT presents this important spotlight on everyday heroes from the civil war in Syria. We will view the Academy Award winning documentary, The White Helmets followed by an expert panel discussion. This film tells the amazing story of citizen volunteers that rush into bombed out buildings and try and rescue people buried in the rubble. The imagery is powerful and intense. All are invited to this event that will help us understand the horrors of war and the immense bravery of those who find themselves in an unthinkable situation.
