Come learn tips for getting a job in the federal government from FBI Special Agent Marc Falconetti. Sponsored by the College of Liberal Ars, this event is open to students from any major interested in federal government position hiring. For more information go to RIT Career Connect > Events

While there may be similarities to the private industry hiring process, there are significant differences in the federal government hiring process due to the many laws, executive orders and regulations that govern federal employment.
 
Falconetti will give insight on the following topics:
•    What it’s like to work for the federal government
•    The background and security check process required to obtain a job in the federal government
•    Tips for writing a federal resume
•    What to expect after you apply
