Field School in Deaf Geographies Spring Open House
The History Department invites you to attend an informational open house session for the Field School in Deaf Geographies. This hands-on summer research program just completed its first summer of research: _The 1880 Deaf Rochester Project.' Come learn about the program and the 2015 scholars_ research.The Field School in Deaf Geographies consists of two, 3-credit co-requisite courses. The courses were developed as vehicles for a project-based research experience and are open to upper-year students. This is a great opportunity to enhance your research skills and r_sum_. These courses may be used for both the History and the Deaf Cultural Studies minors/immersions. Credit is also given towards the Soc/Anth practicum.Applications for the 2016 School (30 May- 1 July) are now being accepted. Refreshments will be provided.
