Film Discussion: The Long Walk of Fred Young
Event Details: Celebrate Native American Heritage Month with us by learning about the work of Dr. Fred Young Begay, a.k.a. Clever Fox. Dr. Young Begay was a Navajo man and nuclear physicist who studied the origin of high energy gamma rays and solar neutrons and whose work at Los Alamos National Laboratory advanced our understanding of thermonuclear fusion and alternative energy possibilities. Pizza and snacks will be served; please RSVP to share dietary restrictions and access needs. All RIT community members are welcome!
