People file into RIT City Art Space.

The RIT community is invited to engage in First Fridays — a showcase of artists exhibiting at Rochester's downtown art institutions — including the newly relocated City Art Space in the Neighborhood of Play. Enjoy an array of other area attractions, too!

First Friday campus shuttle schedule for the spring semester (Feb. 6 and April 3)

  • 5:45 p.m. — pick up at RIT North Bus Shelter (at the top of Parking lot F near the Chester F. Carlson Center for Imaging Science), followed by drop off downtown.
  • 6:45 p.m. — Second pick up at North Bus Shelter, followed by drop off downtown and picking up anyone hoping to return to campus.
  • 7:45 p.m. — Third pick up at North Bus Shelter/downtown drop off and campus return.
  • Bus will pick up from RIT City Art Space for transport back to campus at 7:15, 8:15, and 9 p.m. Anyone who misses the last bus at 9 p.m. will be responsible for their own transportation back to RIT.

The Friday, Feb. 6, exhibition is "Wild Waysides: Queer Ecology and the New Natural."
