FirstByte Transgender Day of Remembrance 2025
Join us for a meaningful evening of reflection, support, and solidarity at our annual Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) event. TDOR is a solemn occasion dedicated to honoring the lives of transgender and gender-diverse individuals who have lost their lives due to violence and transphobia. This event aims to raise awareness about the violence faced by transgender individuals and to foster a safe, inclusive community committed to advocacy, allyship, and change.
There will be a couple of tables out with crafts, a small treat, and informational handouts to honor those who have lost their lives due to violence and transphobia. This event is first come, first served.
This event may be photographed/videoed by RIT. By attending,
you grant Rochester Institute of Technology (“RIT”) permission to use photographs and/or
audio-visual recordings in which you appear, now and in the future, for illustration,
promotion, art, editorial, advertising, and trade, or any other purpose.
