FirstByte Wellness Mondays: Multitasking - "You're Doing Too Much, Literally"
Join Health Promotions and the College of Computing for Wellness Mondays!
Do you find yourself stretched thin? Are you often distracted by multiple tabs, tasks, projects, or people? Join the Wellness Peer Educators to try your hand at a multitasking game, and discuss the benefits of focusing on one thing at a time!
Objectives - By the end of the program, students will be able to:
1. Explain how single-tasking could increase productivity.
2. Identify at least one way multitasking can impact stress levels.
3. Identify at least one strategy to increase productivity and reduce stress.
This program will include a fun activity that will challenge students to reflect on the ways in which multitasking can be detrimental to mental health and actually decrease productivity. The Wellness Peer Educators s will then discuss strategies to try implementing single-tasking in their lives.
