FOOD: A Celebration of Diversity (opening reception)
Food: A Celebration of Diversity is an exhibition that shares the cultural and culinary diversity of the Marketview Heights neighborhood of Rochester, with photographs of select residents, their kitchens and community gardens by RIT photojournalism student Audrey Horn.A collaboration between the Marketview Heights Collective Action Project and RIT/University Community Partnerships, the idea started as a potluck lunch called Eat a Memory, which evolved into a series of activities that share food and cooking as a way of preserving family and community history.
