School of Film and Animation Assistant Professors Vashti Anderson and Christine Banna are presenting films that explore concepts of time, distance, and humanity's relationship to the natural and constructed world during Rochester Fringe Festival.

The program is set for 7:45 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, at The Little Theatre (240 East Ave. Rochester, N.Y.)

Banna utilizes experimental processes: direct-on-film, 3D scans, 2D and analog animation. Anderson tells magic realist stories in narrative fiction, using a range of imaging: iPhone to Arri Alexa 35.

La Struttura/Flusso-Flux, a collaboration based on their shared experiences in Venice, will premiere at the program's end, with a Q-and-A to follow. Tickets for the event are free
