Join organizers and image makers for a discussion about the role of images in visualizing the vast realms of science.Images from Science 3 is a collaborative experiment that initially began in 2002 at Rochester Institute of Technology, and was organized to celebrate the production of extraordinary images featuring science. At its core mission, the project seeks to explore the interface of science, technology, art, design, and communication. The exhibition will showcase 82 extraordinary images from 71 image makers from 15 countries around the world. This year, in addition to still images, the exhibition will incorporate moving images using video, computer generated images (CGI), animations and illustrations. The images were selected by an international panel of experts from around the world.
