Grad Ed Week Awards Presentation and Keynote

Congratulations to this year's Graduate School award recipients! Join us in honoring award recipients during the award presentation. The top-ranked presentation winners of the day will also be announced. Dr. Nicholas Conn, '16 will cap off the day with a keynote at the awards event.

Keynote Speaker
Dr. Nicholas Conn, '16

Dr. Conn is the Founder & Chief Scientific Officer of Casana. Nick completed his Ph.D. in Engineering in 2016 at RIT, where he developed Casana’s technology – a toilet seat-based cardiovascular monitoring system. He founded Casana in 2018. His expertise spans business development, algorithm development, cardiovascular monitoring, medical devices, ultra-low power systems, physiology, and signal processing. Nick also holds a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from RIT. As a student, he was also involved with the Simone Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Dr. Conn's company currently has a multi-million-dollar valuation.

A reception immediately follows with hors d'oeuvres and refreshments. Dr. Conn will be at available at the reception to meet and network with students, faculty, and staff.
