The National Academy of Engineering has identified a set of Grand Challenges representing some of the most pressing problems facing global society. These problems can only be solved by integrating engineering and liberal arts disciplines. RIT’s introductory Grand Challenges: Clean Water course requires liberal arts and engineering students to work together to solve the global problem of access to clean water. This poster session will showcase the work of student teams as they attempt to solve this pernicious problem.
