Abstract:
Adam Rutherford is a geneticist, writer, and broadcaster. He has produced books and documentaries on genetics, eugenics, and the origin of human life, and hosts the BBC radio program Start the Week. He won the 2021 Royal Society David Attenborough Award, and additionally has been a consultant on several movies, including World War Z and Annihilation. Adam will speak about his book How to Argue With a Racist, which emphatically dismantles outdated notions of race by examining what modern genetics can actually tell us about human difference.
