In celebration of Black History Month, The College of Science invites you to join us to learn about the life and work of Dr. Percy Julian, a great American chemist and civil rights pioneer. The Film Screening will take place on February 8, 2023 from 5-7 PM in the Fireside Lounge. Closed captioning and a light dinner will be provided. Dr. Percy Julian was a man of genius, devotion, and determination. He was also the grandson of enslaved people from Alabama and lived in a deeply racist and segregated America. Watch the documentary as it describes how Dr. Julian overcame great challenges to become a world-class scientist and self-made millionaire.
