AWARE-AI Program
Do you have a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence or how it impacts and interfaces with humans? Please consider applying to the AWARE-AI NSF Research Traineeship (NRT) Program at RIT by March 1, 2026. Students admitted to or currently enrolled in eligible RIT PhD and MS on-campus programs in Rochester, NY can apply for a 12-month Traineeship with the AWARE-AI NRT Program. IRES AI-PROWIL Program
We invite current RIT Ph.D. students to apply to pursue a funded international research experience at Sweden’s University West focused on AI and Industry 5.0, with specific emphasis on AI-enhanced automation, AI-enhanced automatic control, AI-enhanced management. IRES scholars will participate in a one-week pre-phase at RIT, an eight-week international phase at University West in Trollhättan, near Gothenburg, Sweden, and a continuation post-support phase for dissemination of research. To be eligible for the IRES AI-PROWIL program applicants should be US citizens, nationals, or permanent residents. Applications are due by March 15, 2026.
