Facilitated by: Irshad Altheimer (Associate Professor, Criminal Justice) & Richard Newman (Professor, History)

Local politics may have never been as important then it is right now. In order to shape an anti-racist environment in Rochester, we can turn to our past for lessons and missed opportunities. This documentary brings us back to 1964 when a previous and similar social unrest erupted in our city. You are encouraged to watch this captioned documentary (https://fod-infobase-com.ezproxy.rit.edu/p_ViewVideo.aspx?xtid=49780) in preparation for a teach-in and open discussion. The film is only accessible by using your RIT credentials.
