Kathryn Murano Santos lecture on the exhibition: The Changemakers
The exhibition, The Changemakers: Rochester Women Who Changed the World, opens at the Rochester Museum & Science Center this month. A virtual preview of the exhibit, held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 12, will feature a Zoom webinar lecture by Kathryn Murano Santos, senior director of collections and exhibitions at the RMSC. Four RIT alumni, Monica Conary, James Kane, Lauren Perttula, and Claudia Paulson, will present content they developed for the exhibition. The opportunity grew from projects they developed in Professor Rebecca DeRoo’s “Gender and Contemporary Art” class in the museum studies program. This event is supported by RIT's committee, Moving Forward: Suffrage Past, Present, and Future.
