Lecture and Book Signing: 'Trailblazing Women of Animation'

Mindy Johnson, an award-winning author, filmmaker and film historian, is visiting Rochester Institute of Technology for a presentation on “An Invisible History - Trailblazing Women of Animation.” The event is sponsored by RIT’s School of Film and Animation.Johnson is an expert on women in early animation and the author of Ink & Paint: The Women of Walt Disney’s Animation. Her presentation at RIT will be an overview of the extraordinary and unsung women of animation history. She will also sign copies of her book.The free and open-to-the-public event is scheduled for 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, in MAGIC Spell Studios' Wegmans Theater.
