Join us to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on MLK day. Reflections, food and refreshments. Program: 10:30 AM-11:30 AM  Ingle AuditoriumReception: 11:30 AM-1:00 PM  Fireside Lounge  Keynote speaker - Nicole DoyleyNicole Doyley grew up in Brooklyn, New York and attended Dartmouth College, earning a Bachelor’s degree in English.  She has worked in ministry for almost 25 years.  She has authored three books and published numerous articles in the Huffington Post and The Witness: a Black Christian Collective.  She speaks in conferences and churches and lives with her husband and two sons in Rochester, NY.Student speaker - Loryn JohnsonLoryn is a 4th year majoring in biotechnology and molecular biosciences. She grew up in Columbus, Ohio before coming to RIT. Since starting her education at RIT, she has become an active member of the community by participating in clubs and programs, such as The Black Awareness Coordinating Committee, where she served as VP and is currently the student advisor. She is also a part of MCAS scholars, Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation (LSAMP), and McNair Scholars Program.
