Lunch & Learn Panel: Start-Up Resources in the Rochester Region

Join us on Friday, April 17th at the RIT Simone Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship for a Lunch and Learn session focused on the wide range of start‑up resources available across the Rochester region.

This event brings together four featured speakers: Jim Senall of NextCorps, Katherine O’Brien of RIT Venture Creations, Ebony Miller of the RIT Center for Urban Entrepreneurship, and Jake Gilmer of the NY SMART I‑Corridor and I‑Corps Hub.

Together, they will provide a clear overview of the programs, support networks, and opportunities available for students, faculty, and staff who are interested in developing new ideas, exploring customer needs, launching ventures, or reaching urban markets in downtown Rochester. After brief presentations, attendees will have the chance to take part in a moderated panel discussion and Q&A to better understand how to navigate these interconnected resources.

This session is open to all members of the RIT community. Pizza and refreshments will be available, and attendees are welcome to stay for informal networking with the speakers until 2 p.m.
