Micron Northeast University Semiconductor Network Summit
The Micron Northeast University Semiconductor Network Summit will bring together leaders from academia, industry, and government to accelerate high-impact strategies for semiconductor education and workforce development. This summit is co-hosted by Micron, RIT, Syracuse University, University of Rochester, and the SEMI Foundation.
The event opens with a welcome reception on the evening of Tuesday, November 18, followed by a full-day summit on Wednesday, November 19 at Rochester Institute of Technology.
Morning sessions will explore emerging industry needs, federal and state policy priorities, and workforce trends, while the afternoon will spotlight university partnerships, innovative programs, and collaborative solutions that strengthen the semiconductor talent pipeline. Additionally, we will have a keynote from Micron about their educator hub as well as a keynote from the SEMI Foundation about the National Network for Microelectronics Education (NNME) and SEMI certification.
The Summit will feature keynote addresses, executive panel discussions, and industry insights, alongside dedicated opportunities for networking and cross-sector collaboration. A poster session will highlight best practices, measurable outcomes, and scalable models for industry–university engagement.
