Momentum II: Leadership Through the Lens of Diversity
Momentum II is for students who have completed momentum I and/or have demonstrable leadership experience you are now ready for momentum II. This weekend-long program is offered in collaboration with campus partners to dive deeper into your leadership identity through multiple social lenses.
For the fall semester, we are partnering with the Division of Diversity and Inclusion to provide activities around unconscious bias, learning to work with individuals from different backgrounds, and challenging the status quo, to name a few. Participants will walk away with tools for becoming more self-aware and confident in their leadership identities.
Information about DDI: The Division of Diversity and Inclusion works collaboratively with the entire RIT community to create an environment that embraces all students, faculty, and staff. Respecting different cultures, perspectives, and beliefs is important because we believe through thoughtful engagement, we can all learn from our differences.
