Join us at the Genesee Country Village & Museum (GCV&M) on Sunday, October 5, 2025 to: 

  • Find out about careers in museums and how RIT's Museum Studies major can prepare you. 
     
  • Hear from current RIT museum studies students about their internships and experiences as future museum professionals.
     
  • Meet the Museum Studies Program Director Juilee Decker, Ph.D., to learn more about what makes RIT's program exceptional. 

Then, enjoy the museum and its activities for the full day! Recently ranked by MSN as one of the top places in America to experience history firsthand, the GCV&M is hosting its 49th annual Agricultural Fair on October 5, featuring a bounty of fun activities, good eats, crafts, music, and more!

This Museum Studies Infosession is offered in conjunction with Into the ROC: Genesee Country Village & Museum Agricultural Fair. For current RIT students, admission is free and transportation by bus is provided. Departing from Sentinel Statue, two buses run every half hour, and the first bus will leave promptly at 10 a.m.
