My Journey as a Biomedical Scientist

Sara Blick-Nitko, a third-year PhD student at University of Rochester, will talk about her journey from graduating high school to being a PhD student that aspires to be a biomedical research scientist. She will discuss details of her journey and how she was able to navigate through challenges. She will also share advice on how to apply for PhD programs, choosing a mentor, and choosing a lab.This is one of the Scientists-in-Training Seminars hosted by RIT-RISE. Please join us on Wednesday, February 19 at 1-2pm in the Bamboo Room (CPC-2610).Refreshments will be provided. Interpreters and captioning will be provided.
