National Middle School Math Competition

The National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) at Rochester Institute of Technology hosts the NTID Middle School Math Competition, bringing together deaf and hard-of-hearing students from across the country to showcase their mathematical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and teamwork. The top 16 teams from our regional competitions are invited to participate in this exciting event.

During the competition, students take part in a series of engaging math challenges designed to encourage critical thinking, collaboration, and a love of mathematics. The event also provides students with an opportunity to experience the RIT campus, meet peers from other schools, and celebrate academic achievement.

The open portion of the competition will take place on Saturday, March 28 from 1:15–5:15 p.m. in the Panara Theatre in the LBJ Building. Spectators are welcome to attend and cheer on the competing teams.
