Native American Heritage Month Meal

In collaboration with the RIT Native American Future Stewards Program to commemorate Native American Heritage Month, The Cafe at Crossroads will bring a taste of Haudenosaunee flavors to RIT on Friday, November 6 and November 13.

The Crossroads culinary team will use Iroquois White Corn (IWC). The corn comes from a local project at Ganondagan.

Friday, November 6 - 10:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

  • Three Sisters Soup (12oz): Vegetarian soup with classic Native American food ingredients contains corn, beans, and squash. Paired with Oneida Corn Bread using local Iroquois cornflour.
  • Three Sisters Soup with Chorizo: Chorizo, corn, beans, and squash. Paired with Oneida Corn Bread using local Iroquois cornflour.

Friday, November 13 - 10:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

  • White Corn Chicken Tamales served with Three Sisters Salad: House-made chicken tamales using local Iroquois corn flour served with "The Three Sisters" classic Native American food ingredients containing corn, beans, and squash.
