RIT African Percussion Ensemble

Listed as FNRT 253 World Music Ensemble in SIS, the African Percussion and Dance Ensemble is comprised of a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff who enjoy exploring the dynamic percussion traditions of Guinea.

You do not have to read music (though it always helps!) and no preparation is required. Pictured above is the group performing during RIT Brick City Weekend last fall, captured by Elizabeth Lamark.

Participate in an open rehearsal this Thursday at 5pm in SAU A120. Please email Prof. Kerfala Fana Bangoura prior to attending (kfbgla@rit.edu).
