The RIT School of Photographic Arts and Sciences Cage is holding its spring lottery on Friday, March 6, to give students a fair chance to check out equipment for the entirety of spring break.

To enter the lottery, register at cad.rit.edu/lottery. Assigned numbers will then be randomly drawn starting at 8 a.m. March 6 at the third-floor Photo Cage (Gannett Hall, 3110).

Students must be present when their lottery number is called (a list of numbers will be posted outside of the third-floor Cage at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 5). If a student is not present when their number is called, they must wait until the conclusion of the lottery to check out gear.

Prior to the lottery, all gear is required to be returned to the third-floor Cage by 6 p.m. March 5. Once equipment from the lottery is checked out, students are free to use it during the weeklong break to continue their assignments. All gear is due back by 6 p.m. Monday, March 16.

*The lottery is only open to College of Art and Design students who have previously signed up to use the Photo Cage this semester.
