POSTPONED: Women of Color Film Festival

For the second consecutive year, RIT is hosting the Women of Color Film Festival on Friday, April 3. The daylong celebration highlights work by women of color in the film industry while introducing diverse filmmaking to young people.
All cis/trans women and non-binary filmmakers of color are invited to submit live-action and animated films for screening inclusion here: bit.ly/wocff2020. The submission deadline is March 13. The screenings will take place in MAGIC Spell Studios’ Wegmans theater. The time of the open-to-all event will be announced soon.
Additionally, the festival is scheduled to feature industry speakers, a panel discussion and professional development opportunities. A full program schedule will be released closer to the event, which is being organized by fourth-year Film and Animation student Taylor Goethe.
