Tuesday April 7th
4 – 7 p.m.
COLA 06-A205
Masters and PhD students chosen at their college level will compete to move on to the university finals at the Rochester Museum and Science Center on April 23rd.
What is a 3 minute presentation? This is a challenge for students to explain their academic work to a general audience with one static slide—in three minutes! Props are allowed, but must be easily carried on/off. Students may use spoken word, sign language, music, poetry or any creative means of presenting. Most importantly, the presentation must be understood by a broad audience. The judges will included RIT community, high school students, Tiger Tales Toastmasters, Alumni, and Rochester community members.
Each Semi Final winner will receive a prize.
