RIT Story Slam - Preliminary Rounds

Students are invited to participate in a live storytelling competition where they tell a personal, true story inspired by the theme MIS/ADVENTURE.

Storytellers who most creatively apply the theme and tell their stories in ways that inspire, amuse, surprise, or captivate will be selected to advance to the final round and compete for a $300 first place prize.

Preliminary round

The preliminary round is open to all currently enrolled RIT graduate and undergraduate students and will take place April 11 through 13. Participants must sign up for one of the following times no later than Friday, April 7.

● Tuesday, April 11, 12:30pm-1:45pm (Carlson, Room 1230)

● Wednesday, April 12, 8am-8:50am (Eastman, Room 3287)

● Wednesday, April 12, 2pm-4pm (Eastman Room 3335)

● Thursday, April 13 12:30pm-1:45pm (Carlson, Room 1230)

 

Final round

When: Saturday, April 29, at Imagine RIT: Creativity and Innovation Festival, 11:30AM.

Where: Outside Liberal Arts Hall
