Into the ROC: Lavender Tour

Come explore Rochester’s LGBTQ+ history through this guided tour facilitated by the Q Center. Lavender represents the spirit and historical significance of this diverse community’s challenging and subverting of the gender binary and heteronormativity. All genders and sexualities, including cis-gender and heterosexuals, are welcomed to come learn and celebrate! This event is a collaboration between The Q Center, the Office for Diversity and Inclusion, and the Center for Leadership and Civic Engagement. Transportation is provided and will leave from The Sentinel at 3:30pm. Interested students can register at campusgroups.rit.edu/CLCE and faculty/staff can contact Dr. Taj Smith at tpsddi@rit.edu
