Into the ROC: Reclaiming Our Roots - A Community Art Experience

What if our scars were a map of our journey?

Join local Rochester artist, Paola Macas Betchart, for a unique workshop that blends photography and artistic expression to tell powerful stories of healing and resilience.

Inspired by her "Scars Project," Into the ROC invites you to reflect on your own journey and the history of this land (Gä'skosägo, in the Seneca language) through a hands-on art process. We'll explore how both personal and collective histories have left their marks, and how we can use art to begin mending them.

Let's weave our stories together and create a collective vision of hope and renewal. All are welcome, regardless of artistic skill!

A bus will be leaving promptly from the Sentinel Statue at 11 a.m.
