Into the ROC: Thrifting Trip

Thrifting is more than just a hobby—it’s a way to define your style on your own terms. Join the Division of Access, Engagement, and Success and the Center for Leadership and Civic Engagement for an Into the ROC Thrifting Trip!

This program will start in MOSAIC Center (SAU-2510) with a deep dive into the world of secondhand fashion. Learn how to spot quality gems, develop your personal aesthetic, and understand the impact of different thrift models with special guests Shawna Lusk (Student Affairs) and Professor Hinda Mandell (School of Communication).

After the talk, we’re heading into the city to hit: Matthew’s Closet, Staple Vintage, and Second Look Styling.

Please keep in mind the cost of thrifting will vary at each store.

The bus pickup/drop-off location will be the Sentinel Statue.
