The Rochester Indie Comics Expo (RICE) is a showcase of local and regional comics creators, who will be selling their original work and connecting with the community. The event has something for all ages.

This year, RICE is made up of three FREE events between March 24 and 25:

  • Comics showcase (7-9 p.m. Friday, March 24, at the Strong National Museum of Play) — learn more
  • Comics workshop for kids with Brian Yanish (10-11 a.m. Saturday, March 25) — registration required
  • RICE Exhibitor's Hall (11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, March 25, in the atrium space behind Mercantile on Main at Sibley Square — 240 East Main St. Rochester, 14604) — learn more

There will be FREE parking available in the Mortimer Street Garage. It has a skyway connection to the second floor of Sibley Square. From there, take the elevator or escalator down to the first-floor atrium. There is also street parking available, which is free on weekends. St. Joe’s Parking Garage will be closed that day.
