Bio:
Leigh Rubin is an author and cartoonist. He has written 20 books. 2020 marks the 36th anniversary of Leigh's internationally syndicated cartoon, Rubes®, which is now, distributed by Creators Syndicate to hundreds newspapers and media outlets worldwide.
In 2018 Leigh had the honor of being selected as Rochester Institute of Technology’s first Cartoonist-in Residence.
In addition, on November 7th, 2018 Leigh and his co-producer Ryan Johnson premiered the pilot episode of their new TV show "Drawing Inspiration" at a special East Coast showing at RIT.
His work has been featured in film, television and advertising. Leigh also enjoys traveling the country, (now virtually), giving thought-provoking and entertaining presentations on art, cartooning and creativity at conferences, colleges and professional organizations.
