SMART RECOVERY Meeting at RIT
SMART RECOVERY uses principles, practices, and tools from disciplines with proven effectiveness in treating problematic addictive behavior, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Self-Empowered 4-Point Program® SMART helps people find the power to change within themselves. The meeting discussion is centered around the SMART 4-Point Program: 1. Build and Maintain Motivation. 2. Cope with Urges. 3. Manage Thoughts, Feelings, and Behaviors. 4. Lead a Balanced Life. Participants DO NOT have had to received alcohol or other drug treatment in past.
Weekly on-campus meetings during the school year
Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30 pm in RIT Student Health Center Conference Room
Open to all members of the RIT Community and other College/University Students
