SOTER Technology Precision Fabrication Recruiting Session
Join representatives from SOTER TECHNOLOGY for their on-campus recruitment event. This session will include a talk on:
- Fabrication of Lightweight Mirrors for Spacecraft.
- The mechanical engineering required for design and fabrication of these optics.
- A chance to heft demonstrate optics, so that students can appreciate how light they are and thus how carefully the mechanical analysis must be done.
All are welcome with a special interest in ME and MET students looking for a career in optical fabrication, as well as 4th and 5th year students who are looking for coops and internships. We are especially interested in those with excellent CAD and FEA skills for design as well as those with extensive machine shop experience for process engineer positions!
