SpringFest: 125 Year Anniversary of RIT Greek Life Celebration
2026 marks 125 Years of Greek Life at RIT, formally started in 1901 with the founding of Phi Sigma Phi, the first social Greek letter organization at the Rochester Athenaeum and Mechanics Institute. Since 1901, Greek Life has become intertwined with RIT, becoming one of the longest standing communities at the University, even predating the first in the line of RIT Presidents, Carleton B. Gibson. The Greek Leadership Committee is hosting the 125th Anniversary of RIT Greek Life Celebration. Come celebrate with the RIT community to discover more about the history of Greek Life, as well as recognizing community accomplishments. Food and drinks will be provided.
SpringFest is RIT’s annual celebration of all things spring! Join us for food, music, festivities, and more. For a complete list of events and sponsors, visit rit.edu/SpringFest. #RITSpringFest
