Succeeding in Engineering: Resources for Success

Join WE@RIT, KGCOE Asst Dean of Student Services Amy Neufeglise, Embedded CaPS Counselor Walt DeRouen & Director of the Academic Success Center Cha Ron Sattler-LeBlanc for this presentation and workshop with a wholistic approach to student success. We'll begin with decorate-your-own donuts and a framing activity, followed by an overview of KGCOE-specific academic resources as well as tips for handling an engineering course load. We'll then delve into the topic of mental health and overall wellness resources, before spending time on healthy coping strategies for managing stress. Finally, we'll learn about the many resources available through the Academic Success Center, from tutoring centers to toolkits, and then put pen to paper for a To Do List Activity designed to get organized and reduce stress. Don't miss this one!
