Super Book - Presentation of the Award Winning Book of Diego De Silva "End Titles of a Life Together"
Conceived by the Italian Cultural Institute in New York, directed by Claudio Pagliara, SuperBook – the Prize of Prizes – is a new initiative by the Institute that, inspired by the Super Bowl model, aims to promote Italian literature in the United States. Eight Italian authors, winners of the major Italian literary awards of 2025, will arrive in New York to present their books and compete for the first SuperBook title. The public is invited to participate in a series of special events. The public is invited to attend a series of special events featuring readings and discussions with readers, critics, translators, and publishers.
By mid-September, a jury with strong U.S. ties will select the book with the greatest potential for the American market. The winning work will receive $10,000 to support its translation and promotion in English.
RIT Italian Studies Program presents Diego De Silva who won the XCVI edition of the Premio letterario Viareggio-Rèpaci for narrative with his book "I titoli di coda di una vita insieme" (The End Titles of A Life Together.) After the reading of excerpt the audience is invited to a Q/A with the author.
