Sustainability Certification for Departments

The Sustainable Office Certification (SOC) is a comprehensive checklist used by department members passionate about bringing core values of sustainability into their offices. These members, called program Champions, are tasked with completing the 3-part checklist and providing information about their offices’ day-to-day practices. Based on this information, RIT Sustainability team members will evaluate responses to award certifications and make suggestions for improvements of sustainable practices. A 30-minute information session will be held via zoom on February 22, at 11:30am. Only one person who will be responsible for completing the evaluation need to attend the zoom meeting.
