Synchrony cybersecurity event

Brought to you by RIT's Office of Career Services and Cooperative Education

The University of Connecticut, a leader in hardware cybersecurity, and Synchrony, a major force in US ecommerce, will again sponsor CyberSEED 2021. This exciting cybersecurity event, a follow-on to the highly successful CyberSEED 2019, will feature a cyber wargame competition with prizes awarded to the best performing teams. Competitors will again face off this March 27 – this time in pure (virtual) cyberspace -- for bragging rights, cyber education and cash prizes.

This year, CyberSEED 2021 will feature a kickoff presentation by Synchrony Chief Information Security Officer Gleb Reznik. And, for participants who don’t choose to compete, the event also includes a concurrent workshop and panel discussion featuring themes curated from recent hacks, state actor risks, and challenges of cyber workforce development.

To register a team, early registration for the March 27 event is recommended to guarantee participation.

The event is free.

If you’re interested in technology, need CPE, or just want to network with Synchrony Information Security and IT peers, please join us on March 27!
